Entrance into Poor Dog Farm's Etsy shop is a royal experience, indeed! Mr. Georgieff's art work is charming... alluring... captivating... darling... delightful. Did you get the point that I like his art? He lives on a farm in rural Pennsylvania, his work inspired from the local homesteads, animals and nature.
Here are a few of his prints, which I recently purchased. I call them my "Birdies Wearing Hats." I can just hear you oo-ing and ahh-ing, and adding another adjective to my list, "Aren't they just adorable?"
I have matted and framed four of them for my study, saving one to frame for a gift. I love to present folks with a bird gift when they are facing a trial, along with a "His Eye Is On the Sparrow" notation.
And here is a "Prairie Dog Wearing a Hat," an original watercolor which I bought for my husband. (There's a story behind this, folks.)
And I'm going to add a "Crow Wearing a Hat" to his collection. Either this one...
... or this one!
Which would you choose? Shhhhh! It's a secret, as I hope to surprise him with it!
CROWS and PRAIRIE DOGS have played important roles in my husband's life. Does that have you wondering? Maybe I'll blog about that someday!
Plan a regal break. Pour yourself a luxurious cup of hot tea. Open up a package of Anna's Ginger Thins, and spend a wee bit of relaxing time perusing (here comes another adjective!) the impressive Poor Dog Farm shop!
